HORRAY FOR ME I GOT A "B"!

When I started this semester of school I knew it wasn't going to be easy, especially taking a full 12 credit load! The first day of my Anatomy and Physiology class was so intimidating! I knew I was in for a tough class but I wasn't prepared for just HOW tough. It didn't help that my teacher is a soccer mom and has to shorten my Saturday class from 4 hours to 1 1/2. Normally I would be excited to leave early from a class, however I need all the help I can get so this was very frustrating. My Professor zips through the material so fast that I can't wrap my brain around most of it and in her effort to speed us along she spells different terms to us as she goes...incorrectly! ARG!! Needless to say, I've been very discouraged!

Last Saturday was our first Lecture Test and I was STRESSED out of my mind! I studied and memorized and studied and memorized! I thought I was going to have an anxiety attack come the day of the exam. Much to my surprise I got a "B" on the test! Normally this would frustrate me especially with all the time, effort and tears that went in to preparing for it. My only reaction was a sigh of relief! I didn't bomb it! In fact the average grade was a "C". I was shocked! Me, Emily Crow, got a higher grade than most of the other students in my class! IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? Well, even though I would have liked to receive a better grade, a "B" is better than I had hoped...especially since I felt like I learned all the material BY MYSELF! This Saturday I have a Lab Practical Test for A&P and this one is going to be murder...so wish me luck!
